The twist was that the main character, Rob, who owns a record store, is an African American female instead of a Caucasian man in this remake. A far worse change is the show's treatment of rapper Kanye West for wearing a MAGA hat.

Case in point, we have a story dedicated to reminding us that “cruelty is the point” at detention centers.
