'Preacher' Premieres With God as Villain: 'Make Him Suffer'
Culture

Barely a week after the premiere of Amazon’s The Boys, we’re back to the same ultra-violence, gore, and blasphemy from the same twisted minds behind AMC’s Preacher. Fortunately, this is the final season of Preacher, so unlike The Boys, this should be the last we hear from this show. Unfortunately, we still have to get through this awful season.
'4 Weddings and a Funeral' Takes Cheap Shot at Pence's Christianity
Culture

Hulu's Four Weddings and a Funeral tv adaptation is...odd. Co-created by Richard Curtis, who created the original movie, and Mindy Kaling (The Mindy Project), I had high hopes that this team could deliver a heartfelt, funny comedy that either left out the politics or was somewhat balanced. Instead, Republicans and conservatives are overtly insulted and mocked.

The seventh and final season of Netflix’s Orange Is the New Black began airing on July 26 with thirteen hour-long episodes. Blasphemous ‘The Boys’ on Amazon Calls God 'World Heavyweight C**t'

Amazon Prime’s latest series The Boys is based on the graphic novel of the same name by Garth Ennis, the same writer behind Preacher. The show is also produced by Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogan, who helped to develop the Preacher television series. So is it safe to say that The Boys is just as raunchy, gory, and sacrilegiously irreverent as Preacher? Sadly, it may be much worse.

It seemed as if our culture couldn’t have gotten more confused about sexuality before LGBT became LGBTQIA+, but that notion has been proven wrong with one outrageous equality push after another. Fortunately, ABC’s summer drama, Grand Hotel, tries to clear that all up for us in their latest episode.

On Thursday, NBC announced that the next season of Will & Grace, the third of its revival and 11th overall, will be the last. The series’ final 18 episodes will be released mid-season in early 2020, offering the show the opportunity to get in some last parting shots at President Donald Trump, but not quite airing close enough to the election for its self-indulgent liberal lectures to serve as…

The third season of Veronica Mars aired on the CW in 2007 and now, 12 years later, Hulu has brought it back. I am what one might call a dedicated "Marshmallow" - a superfan of the titular teen detective who was equal parts sarcastic and hard-boiled. Imagine both my excitement when I found out the show was coming back and my abject disappointment when I found out that this fourth season was chock…
