Showing its true cop-hating colors, it tweeted the message that athletes should be as fearless as a highly controversial character on the HBO “Euphoria” program. That character is a 13-year-old boy who is not only a drug dealer, but also one who has killed two public safety officers. 

Around the world, multiple sports organizations are excluding Russian teams and athletes from upcoming events. Among them are professional tennis, hockey, skiing, soccer and the International Olympic Committee. The war-mongering Russians are now a pariah on the international sports scene.

This year’s Daytona 500 served up yet another embarrassment for the NBA, smashing the league’s all-star game in the television ratings. Television viewers preferred NASCAR racing by a whopping 41-percent margin over the NBA all-star game, according to Michael Mulvihill, an executive vice-president for Fox Sports.
