As usual, the "objective" media picked up the hot talk about the conservatives "gutting" abortion rights, "affirmative action," and "student debt relief." The organizers were leftists, but reporters touted a diverse "spectrum" of activists.

The media's Trump-indictment obsessives engaged in all kinds of glee out of Fulton County mug shots of Donald Trump's "co-conspirators" in Georgia, and the glee only grew once Trump's mug shot was released. After the first Republican debate, alleged democracy-defending reporters suggested Trump-less debates were pointless. On the cusp of the first presidential debate, the "news" media have two partisan spins. They obsess over Trump's arrest in Georgia and play up his legal jeopardy, while their coverage of President Biden avoids all gaffes and blunders and touts the "Empathizer in Chief" in Maui.

Is the GOP campaign coverage in 2023 turning out a lot like 2015? Is Trump dominating the media? A new MRC evening-news study by Rich Noyes found that Trump's share of Republican media coverage is twice as big a share of the overall percentage as the last time the primary was open eight years ago.

CNN's Jake Tapper sent a savage tweet over Laura Ingraham's segment on the leftist media "humiliating themselves" and reveling in Trump indictments and mug shots. Fox was wildly unfair and dishonest about CNN! 

ABC, CBS, and NBC have already done an hour of stories on the fourth Trump indictment -- from Fulton County, Georgia DA Fani Willis. Nick Fondacaro discusses "indictment fatigue" and the "white noise" of the endless cable chatter about Trump.

Republicans were angry that the Biden Justice Department "promoted" David Weiss to Special Counsel in the Hunter Biden probe. But PBS (and NPR's legal reporter) didn't think House Republicans were worth quoting or mentioning.

CNN's John King talked to Republicans in Iowa and lamented they would break CNN's "fact check machine." Dana Bash added they held crazy conspiracy theories from conservative media.
