Apparently the Doug Gottlieb Constitutional Law/Anti-2nd Amendment forum has now closed. As we wrote last night, CBS Sports’ Doug Gottlieb launched into one of the more bizarre and insanely dumb twitter rants you’re ever going to see.
Except you can’t see the rant anymore because Gottlieb has deleted his tweets. But not to fear, we here at Newsbusters save and savor every Gottlieb tweet for the sweet little slices of insanity that they are.

Most incredible of all is not just that these opinions were uttered publicly, but they were given as debate-enders. Not debate-beginners. Because they were so breathtaking in their scope and knowledge, apparently.
What a world we would live in if Doug Gottlieb’s vision of the Constitution were true, and Amendments didn’t matter? That whole 13th Amendment thing banning slavery? Worthless. Not part of the Constitution. The 19th Amendment allowing women to vote? Dude! It had to be amended in to the Constitution! Not even worth the paper it’s printed on!
I would weep, weep for that world.
