With professional sports fully captured, Black Lives Matter propaganda is now infiltrating public schools. Johnny can't read, but at two Seattle area public schools he can learn how to be an activist from one of the most radical athletes in history — Colin Kaepernick.
Young students in these Left Coast schools are learning to hate police and how to take a knee to protest police brutality, according to reports on Daily Wire and Outkick.
Is this really surprising when the National Education Association offers Black Lives Matter At School resources for educators? Evidently not, as Daily Wire's Hank Berrien and Outkick's Bobby Burack explain.
Second-grade classes in a Washington school are teaching children that "white silence=violence", along with anti-police narratives. Impressionable young minds at the schools are also subjected to a video of Colin Kaepernick encouraging people to "strike" and to take a knee, as he did during the national anthem preceding NFL games in 2016.
The school also suggests that students check out The Woke Kindergarten Youtube host Ki's "police-free schools" video.
Grove Elementary, in Marysville, "educated" students by posting a video on its website's "Animation Series: Something Happened In Our Town," featuring more malarkey that has nothing to do with reading, writing and arithmetic.
The video features discussions between people portraying public safety officers as indiscriminate killers of minorities. One of the persons states, "The cops shot him because he was Black” and “It was a mistake that is part of a pattern.” A black father tells his son the police officer “won’t go to jail,” and the boy’s brother says, “Cops stick up for each other. And they don’t like Black men.”
Jodi Runyon, the school’s director of Communications, Engagement, and Outreach, said the video was supposed to be “an optional resource to build understanding in challenging times.” It was eventually removed after parents complained. Will the prejudicial messages also be erased from the impressionable students' minds?
At Discovery Elementary School in Gig Harbor, resources were posted online in a “Black Lives Matter Instructional Library.” The section includes the book "A is for Activist", which urges students to agitate and demand, "No justice, no peace."
In the video “Peaceful Fights for Equal Rights”, Kaepernick, who played quarterback for San Francisco for six years, urges kids to “take a knee,” organize a union and “strike.”
Kaepernick gained considerable notoriety for calling police officers "slave patrol" and "pigs." He also tweeted on the Fourth of July that America is not the land of the free.:
“Black ppl have been dehumanized, brutalized, criminalized + terrorized by America for centuries, & are expected to join your commemoration of “independence”, while you enslaved our ancestors. We reject your celebration of white supremacy & look forward to liberation for all.”
For taxpayer-funded public schools to hold up Kaepernick as a role model and to use his anti-American vitriol as teaching material should be unthinkable.
