LeBron James: Capitol Police Would've Treated 'My Kind’ Worse Than KKK-Like Trumpers

LeBron James put his big feet in his supersized mouth yet again. The Los Angeles Lakers superstar proved he’s fully capable of parroting left-stream media talking points by asking what would have happened if his “kind” had stormed the U.S. Capitol as KKK-like Trump supporters did on Wednesday.

His ”kind”? That’s an insulting corollary to a white person using the phrase “you people” in reference to minorities. But the irony seems to be lost on James, whose rant is featured today by USA Today Sports’ Mark Medina.

Medina reports that while watching Trump rioters James was upset “by how law enforcement responded much differently to those rioters compared to the last summer's Black Lives Matter protests.” James said:

"I couldn’t help but to wonder if those were my kind storming the Capitol, what would’ve been the outcome? I think we all know. It’s no ifs, ands or buts. We already know what would’ve happened to my kind if anyone had gotten close to the Capitol, let alone storm inside the offices and inside the hallways."

Medina also writes the four deaths and 52 arrests on Wednesday “paled in comparison to the 14,000 arrests police made this past summer during mostly peaceful (emphasis added) protests against racial injustice.”

Yes, he’s referring to the “mostly peaceful” Black Lives Matter thugs who looted communities and torched buildings across the nation last year. And the Antifa radicals who are still wreaking havoc on Portland.

By reading the dime-a-dozen false narratives perpetuated by Medina and his media kind, one might suspect that Wednesday was a casual day for D.C.’s Capitol police. Though Ashli Babbitt was shot and killed by the police, Medina says Trump supporters invading the Capitol were met with “little force.”

Ever the sensationalist who last year falsely claimed African Americans are being hunted down, James said he showed images from Wednesday to his two teen sons to demonstrate "how we live in two Americas." Bitterness 101 class was in session in the James household.:

"All you have to do is look at the photos. I saw the picture yesterday of a black man holding his daughter on top of his shoulders and you got a police officer with a shield on with a gun pointed right at him or right at her. It could’ve been rubber bullets on the inside. It could’ve been real bullets. We’ve all seen that photo. On the contrary, you got this white guy walking inside the Capitol with his thumb up in the air holding a podium in his hand. What more do I need to say to my kids than to see the two differences?"

After losing to the Spurs Wednesday night, James added a "Do you understand now?" shirt to his “I Can’t Breathe” and “Black Lives Matter” collection.

James also contributed to his we’re hunted theme by commenting “when we walk out of our homes and we walk out of our project buildings that we’re scared to death right off the bat. We’re afraid of the police.” Wait, wait a minute, please. James, the man who owns three mansions, walking out of a project?

James still wasn’t ready to shut up and dribble yet as he took off on President Trump:

"The events that took place yesterday was a direct correlation of the president that is in the seat right now, his actions, his beliefs, his wishes. He cares about nobody besides himself. Nobody. Absolutely nobody. He doesn’t care about this country. He doesn’t care about his family. He doesn’t care about anybody besides himself."

James also “found parallels between the pro-Trump rioters and the KKK, which is considered a terrorist hate group,” Medina reports.

"The KKK and the rags over their faces, now they’re just hiding under certain other costumes," James said. "They’re going under other costumes that you saw yesterday in the Capitol. You can’t sit here and say that those aren’t terrorists. We keep saying they aren't protestors. They’re not protestors. What are they protesting? Knocking down walls, knocking down the gates of the nation’s Capitol?"
