For years on end, conservatives across the country have been forced to endure relentless, hateful smears directed at themselves, the President and basically anyone who is not a Democrat. Congressional Republicans are often a target for the far-left late night hosts. On Wednesday night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, the late-night liberal sherpa, Jimmy Kimmel, had the gall to criticize those Republicans in Congress for asking their Democrat peers to use respectful language when speaking of the President.
Kimmel began by jeering Republicans in the halls of Congress, “Republicans in the House have come up with a list of words they don't want Democrats to use when describing the President. For real. Republicans sent this list of no-no words to the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee.”
Of course, the list of words that Republicans are upset about recieved a lot of traction from Democratic Congresswoman Mary Gay Scanlon. She tweeted a picture of herself holding up a sign with terms like “con man” and “racist.” Good to know where Kimmel is getting his talking points.
When listing out the set of terms decided to be off limits, Kimmel could not help but take a jab at President Trump: “These are words they say violate long-standing congressional rules, words like crook, con man, corruption, demagogue, draft dodger, misogynist, racist, basically they don't want them to call him anything he is. Which is very unusual.”
Not to be out- done, over on The Late Show, Wednesday, night, Stephen Colbert was the latest member of the media to partake in the time honored tradition of mocking President Trump’s crowd sizes. “In the run-up to this thing, Trump and his folks kept saying that this thing was oversold. Something like 100,000 tickets or 120,000-- something like that-- for only 25,000 seats in the arena. That's why they said they had to have that "45 fest" out in the parking lot for the overflow crowd of 75,000 people who couldn't get in. That is impressive. That is also a lie.”
When it is your career to deride Republicans and conservatives on a nightly basis, you strive to create as inflammatory statements as possible with no regard towards unity.

STEPHEN COLBERT: In the run-up to this thing, Trump and his folks kept saying that this thing was oversold. Something like 100,000 tickets or 120,000-- something like that-- for only 25,000 seats in the arena. That's why they said they had to have that "45 fest" out in the parking lot for the overflow crowd of 75,000 people who couldn't get in. That is impressive. That is also a lie. And I know that's a lie, because we sent a camera crew down there, with Jim Anchorton and Jill Newslady from "Real news tonight," and this is footage they brought back from outside during the speech of that supposed overflow crowd. And, it's no one. Just garbage and abandoned lawn furniture. And that was right before the rally started. You can see the rally on the screen in the background right there. There it is, for the crowd that is supposed to be watching the screen that is not there. But maybe they went home without any of their chairs because they couldn't get into that sold-out arena. Again, no. Because our team got their press credentials denied at the last minute-- and this is true-- so they just went online and got tickets and walked in. They just walked in to take any one of the many, many empty seats in the arena. Wow, I knew trump's voters were old. I didn't know they were ghosts. Don't get me wrong. He had maybe 20,000 people there. That's a nice crowd but it wasn't sold out. Still, it's the perfect relaunch of Trump's campaign, because it fulfills his core campaign promise: "I will lie to you about everything."
