Late Thursday night on MSNBC's The 11th Hour sick irony was displayed during a segment on Florida Republican governor Ron DeSantis signing into law an abortion ban for unborn babies with detectable heartbeats. To show how sick the so-called journalists on MSNBC are, guest Juanita Tolliver suggested that it's both "cruelty" and "inhumane behavior" for Republicans to fight for legislation to protect unborn babies from being slaughtered.
When host Stephanie Ruhle turned to Tolliver to explain the GOP's agenda going forward when it comes to abortion. Tolliver claimed, "Republicans are trying to backtrack from something they dedicated decades to when in regards to overturning access to abortion by stacking the Supreme Court."
She then sought to lecture Republicans and proclaim since they have been pushing for "complete and total bans" they can't "backtrack from the cruelty, the inhumane behavior, and the extremist policies that they’ve put forward."
This of course is projection on Tolliver's part since it's her side that is pushing cruel, inhumane, and extreme policies when it comes to abortion. It's her side that wants abortion on demand. The left has gone from insisting abortion should be "safe, legal, and rare" to "shout your abortion" and celebrate killing your unborn children.
She then turned her ire toward DeSantis and his 2024 presidential prospects by claiming he will be courting a "general electorate that supports access to abortion" and that his support for the right of unborn babies to live "is going to bite him in the butt."
Once Tolliver was finished, Ruhle jumped in to bemoan how Republicans "play politics with something this serious when it comes to our health."
It seems leftists like Ruhle don't know what health or healthcare is. Healthcare is meant to heal people, not kill them. Abortion, by definition, is the opposite of healthcare. It's murder.
This pro-abortion segment was made possible by Verizon. Their information is linked.

11:29:12 p.m. EasternJUANITA TOLLIVER: Republicans are trying to backtrack from something they dedicated decades to when in regards to overturning access to abortion by stacking the Supreme Court, and now pushing for complete and total bans but there's no way they can backtrack from the cruelty, the inhumane behavior, and the extremist policies that they’ve put forward. And the fact that DeSantis is signing this bill into law at what? 11:00 at night and trying to pretend like no one’s gonna see it. That just shows that, okay, you know you stepped in it. Because nearly two-thirds of the country still supports access to abortion.
But you’re gonna do it anyway because you are trying to survive a GOP primary that’s what this is about. But here's the thing, even if DeSantis does survive a primary, going into a general election, where elections are won, with a general electorate that supports access to abortion, this is going to bite him in the butt, right? People are gonna reject him because of that. And you better believe Democrats are gonna run any bit of footage they have of him talking about this and signing that bill, even though he posted it again at 11:00 at night on a Thursday, this will be front and center for voters if he survives a Republican primary.
STEPHANIE RUHLE: Now, to be clear, he may have signed it earlier today we just got word now that he signed it. It's extraordinary to play politics with something this serious when it comes to our health.
