Not News: Hillary Clinton Quips Death Row Records 'Influenced My Look'

Forget running a campaign for presidency. Hillary Clinton seems to be running a campaign for panderer in chief.

Clinton was interviewed on the urban radio program Breakfast Club earlier this week, when she was asked to respond to a popular and funny meme that’s been shared across social media.  The meme shows Clinton on one side and a member of the Death Row Records label on another (various memes have different members shown alongside Clinton.)  When asked her response to the meme, Clinton said:

“I think Death Row and a lot of other fashion sources have influenced my look, don’t you?”

When Clinton was asked the best way to “get guns off the streets,” she said gun violence is a “public health epidemic” and the “number one cause of death for young African-American men,” and said that dealing with police brutality has been her “highest priority through this campaign.”

Really?  If that’ s the case, she probably doesn’t want to associate herself anywhere near Death Row Records considering lyrics from the label include gang related violence, black on black crime, killing police and the degradation of women…but that’s ok because it’s Clinton and she gets a pass from everything.

Clinton can hold a fundraiser with gangsta rapper Jay-Z and no one wonders if that's feminist. Let's recall a bit of his song “Big Pimpin’” and wonder how hillary would greet this if Trump said this to Billy Bush:  "I thug 'em/F--- 'em/Love 'em/Leave 'em/'Cause I don't f---in' need 'em/Take 'em out the hood/Keep 'em lookin' good/But I don't f---in' feed 'em."

In an April interview on the same New York radio show, Clinton admitted to pandering to black voters by feigning affinity for hip-hop culture.

As Breitbart News reporter Charlie Spiering noted, “Clinton spent the interview celebrating singer Beyoncé but admitting that she couldn’t pronounce her name; Clinton apologized for using the term “super-predator” to describe law-breaking black people; she praised Steve Harvey’s fashion sense, and talked about playing dominos in Harlem, among other things.”

It may not seem much at first, but this is just another way Clinton is pandering to minority communities – in this case – the African-American community.  In 2007 she adopted a cringe-inducing southern accent to try and connect with black members of the First Baptist Church in Selma, Alabama, and in another radio interview this past April, Clinton said she carries hot-sauce around wherever she goes.  And just yesterday, she told the Spanish channel Univision that her favorite food was….wait for it…..MEXICAN…and even said her two year old granddaughter was beginning to learn Spanish.

So far I haven't heard Clinton try to connect with the “basic white girl” and talk about her love for Uggs, yoga pants, and all things pumpkin...but I won’t hold my breath.
