In case it wasn’t already obvious, MSNBC treats anything that comes out of a leftist’s mouth as an indisputable fact. On Wednesday’s Last Word, radical host Lawrence O’Donnell compared the United States Postmaster General’s job to Vladimir Putin interfering in U.S. elections. Yes, America can send people to space, but the person running snail mail is the alpha and omega.
Only at MSNBC could a host get away with equating a U.S. Cabinet member to a vicious dictator. “Louis Dejoy is doing what Vladimir Putin would be doing if he were running the postal service.” O’Donnell’s absurd statement has little factual backing, and was only said to push the false agenda that the Trump administration will use the Post Office to rig the election. Leftists have been spewing out anything that pops into their head that will demonize President Trump, and hurt his reelection chances.
O’Donnell also made bizarre claims of Louis DeJoy being an unofficial member of the Trump campaign:
Louis Dejoy is a businessman who contributed enough money to Donald Trump's campaign to secure the position of Postmaster General, which is now the most important job in the Trump campaign. Louis Dejoy is not officially a member of the Trump re-election campaign, because that would be a crime, a federal crime, just like tampering with the mail is a federal crime.
This so-called attack on the President’s reelection was ridiculous, and is designed to make the President and those around him look like criminals. In reality, they’re doing their jobs, and O’Donnell hasn’t liked how they do their jobs. The left has been notorious for confusing a person who doesn’t agree with them as evil, criminal, and/or mentally ill.
The radial host’s basis for these insane accusations came from Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) complaining about the Postmaster General on the Senate floor:
What a despicable derogation of democracy. What is his rational? It's a small amount of money. Ballots are a small percentage of the mail that's delivered. It is to discourage people from voting. He ought to be ashamed of himself. If anyone had any thought that this Postmaster General was on the level, it's now dispensed.
Schumer’s partisan attack of the Republican administration led O’Donnell to the conclusion that the partisan hack must be correct. The radical host used Schumer words as evidence for a hypothetical Biden Justice Department to start an investigation:
And that kind of tampering with our election, which could be the kind of tampering with the mail that the Biden Justice Department might consider a crime next year if they investigate that, brought this condemnation of Trump's Postmaster General on the Senate floor.
Looks like America will be going back to the Holder-Obama wingman days! With that thinking, anytime O’Donnell whines about a crime being committed, it shouldn’t be taken seriously. MSNBC has completely thrown in their support for the Biden campaign, and their bias against Trump has been painfully clear.

10:31 PM ETLAWRENCE O’DONNELL: And when we come back, Donald Trump's big helper in the last presidential election, Vladimir Putin, will not be prosecuted for the crimes that he will commit and has already committed in trying to help Donald Trump get re-elected this year. But Donald Trump's Postmaster General will be prosecuted for federal crimes if he illegally tampers with the mail to try to rig the election for Donald Trump. That's next.

O’DONNELL: The question tonight and every night for the next 83 nights is which one of these guys is going to do more harm to American democracy in his effort to interfere with our election to help Donald Trump win re-election. These two guys want exactly the same thing. They both want Donald Trump to get four more years in the White House. One is the dictator of Russia, and the other is the Postmaster General. The job first held by Benjamin Franklin. We have had 75 postmasters general, and none of them have been accused on the Senator floor of tampering with our election process until now.
Louis Dejoy is doing what Vladimir Putin would be doing if he were running the postal service. He has reassigned or displaced 23 experienced postal executives who know how to deliver the mail and have been making sure mail-in ballots get delivered for many, many years. And now Louis Dejoy wants to change how much states, state governments have to pay for postage on mail-in ballots. He wants to raise the postage fees for mail-in ballots. And that kind of tampering with our election, which could be the kind of tampering with the mail that the Biden Justice Department might consider a crime next year if they investigate that, brought this condemnation of Trump's Postmaster General on the Senate floor.
