You can officially add "The Daily Show's" Jon Stewart to the list of unabashed Sarah Palin haters, for while speaking in front of a crowd at Northeastern University on Friday, the comedian told the Alaska governor "F**k you!"
Unfortunately, as reported by Mary Katherine Ham at the Weekly Standard Sunday evening, there was more to Stewart's invective-filled rant.
Here are some of the lowlights (video embedded right):
He (McCain) made an interesting vice presidential choice.
I like the woods...I just don't know if I would pull my vice president out of the woods randomly.
She came out again today. She was talking to a small town, she said that small towns, that's the part of the country she really likes going to because that's the pro-America part of the country.
You know, I just want to say to her, just very quickly...[expletive] you.
I've never seen someone with a greater disparity between how cute they sound when they're saying something and how terrible what they're saying is. [...]
I can't take it anymore. After eight years of this divisiveness, we're back to this idea that only small-town America is the real America.
Don't you love how liberals in the same breath they're complaining about the divisiveness in America spew some of the worst hatred you can imagine towards those they disagree with?
One would think someone as intelligent as Stewart would recognize the hypocrisy.
I guess not.
Sadly, this will likely help his career rather than hinder it.
Read the whole thing if you can take it.
