Last November, MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell admitted on live television that he's a socialist.
On Monday, Ed Schultz announced on the MSNBC program bearing his name that his favorite Senator is America's only avowed socialist member of Congress (video follows with transcript and commentary):
ED SCHULTZ: Joining me now, my favorite Senator, independent from Vermont, Bernie Sanders. I've never said you were my favorite Senator on this program before or when I was doing the six o’clock, but you are, and I want to announce that tonight. You are my favorite Senator because you stand up to what is wrong with this country and you always have a solution on what we need to do to make things better for the middle class, and I respect that, Senator.
So, at 8 PM, viewers can turn on MSNBC's "The Last Word" to hear the opinions of an avowed socialist, and two hours later check out "The Ed Show" and get propagandized by a man whose favorite senator is a socialist.
Makes you wonder just how far this so-called news network is going to "lean" to the left before owners Comcast and General Electric realize the views being expressed are supported by a tremendously small percentage of America.
