As detailed by Matthew Balan earlier today, CNN went out of its way Wednesday and Thursday to tout a New york Daily News cover that slammed those that would dare to pray for the victims of the San Bernardino shooting that slaughtered 14 innocent people and wounded 17 others.
In a Thursday article by Tom LoBianco and Allie Malloy of CNN, Obama was doing his usual best to dance around the possibility of mentioning the word "terrorism" when discussing the motive for the shooting, and in the process, made the following statement;
Our first order of business is to send our thoughts and prayers to those who have been killed.
Hmmm. And here's what Carol Costello had to say earlier in the day when touting the "provacative" front page:
And it's that phrase, 'thoughts and prayers' — expressed by Cruz's rivals and others — that prompted this provocative New York Daily News front page — it's gotten a lot of buzz this morning — take a look. It reads, 'God Isn't Fixing This,' and slams Cruz and other 2016 contenders as — quote, 'cowards who continue to hide behind meaningless platitudes.'
So does that mean that Obama is a "coward who continue[s] to hide behind meaningless platitudes" by extension, or do you think that somehow Obama is excepted from this charge?
That was a rhetorical question.
