Author, columnist, and MRC Senior Fellow Allen West appeared on The Ingraham Angle on Monday night to warn Americans about the group "Black Lives Matter."
"I think that it's very important that we stop having these corporations, to the tune of over $460 million, being extorted to support an organization such as Black Lives Matter who really do not care about those issues addressing the black community," West said. "They want to talk about a genocide, then talk about the Planned Parenthood clinics - seventy percent plus - that are located in the black communities all across the United States of America. And, of course, Planned Parenthood was founded by an avowed white supremacist and a racist. So I think that it's about time that we do start to stand up and push back against these organizations and stop cowering to them.”
LAURA INGRAHAM: President Obama said, I think what of his final messages as he was leaving office was keep organizing. Stay out there. I'm not saying he's pushing the Marxist element here. I don't know. I hope not. But he did urge people to keep the community organizing and so forth. One of the organizers of BLM, she said look, we are trained and the Marxist ideology. This is what -- I guess she said Marxist organizing. That's what they are doing.
ALLEN WEST: You are absolutely right. I find it very interesting that you don't have President Obama coming out and denouncing this organization. And, truthfully, you don't have any Democrat leaders coming out and denouncing this organization. But, I think it's also very important that we have Republicans stop being afraid, stop being concerned about being denigrated and castigated as a racist or things of this nature – and just come out and say exactly what needs to be said: this is an organization that is supporting the undermining of our constitutional republic. This organization does not deal with the rule of law. It is all about the rule of the mob.
West wrote a column calling the group Black Lives Matter "the ultimate Trojan horse." Their website talks about loosening the grip of "heteronormative thinking" and pledges to disrupt the "Western-prescribed nuclear family structure."
