In the latest edition of the NewsBusters Podcast, the hot story is Team Biden trying to shut down the Fox News camera exposing their maladministration of the border. Nick Fondacaro noted that Fox reporter Bill Melugin had to report on Tucker Carlson's show that the Federal Aviation Administration ruled their drone had to be grounded.
Conservative Twitter responded by imagining how the Stelters of the world might have responded if Trump grounded their drone cameras at the border, and how democracy would die in darkness.
We also have a small preview of the "Justice for J6" rally, or the "pro-rioter rally," as the liberal media call it. (As if they don't sound "pro-rioter" when the rioters are BLM or Antifa.) In his newsletter for Friday, CNN's Brian Stelter admitted "Whatever transpires on Saturday will likely be small-scale -- nothing like the March for Life or the Women's March or other magnets for social action." That's true. Every January, the March for Life is in fact a large-scale pro-life protest. Too bad the coverage doesn't match. The question now is if 200 or 500 people show up and not much happens for "J6," was it worth all the hype this week on CNN and MSNBC?
Then there's the increasing craziness of Joy Reid on MSNBC. Curtis Houck wrote up how she claimed Republicans and conservatives “love Covid so much” that we “want it everywhere” to murder as many people as possible, “drink” COVID “in a Kool-Aid cup,” have it “injected into” our backsides, and have the virus “pumping through” our “veins.” She and Joy Behar sound like this all the time, so why were they named "Joy"?
