Barack Obama's reaction to Tuesday's big election loss for the Democrats was mocked at the Country Music Awards by Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley. If their act looks somewhat familiar, they were the same duo who mocked ObamaCare last year at the same show.
They also took some potshots at Taylor Swift for seeming to have abandoned country music which they worked into the routine:
CARRIE UNDERWOOD: As we stand here and celebrate and have a good time, we recognize that people around the world are worried.
BRAD PAISLEY: Yeah, you can't turn on the TV or open up a newspaper or click on a website without being reminded of the epidemic that we're all facing. And I don't think I'm out of line by saying that this condition has hit Nashville the hardest.
UNDERWOOD: That's right, Brad. And of course, we're talking about Postpartum Taylor Swift Disorder. Or, as it's more commonly known, PPTSD.
PAISLEY: Why isn't our government doing something about this? I'll be the first one to say it. President Obama does not care about Postpartum Taylor Swift Disorder.
UNDERWOOD: I'm pretty sure that's why the Democrats lost the Senate. But Brad, how do you know the President doesn't care?
PAISLEY: I know he doesn't care because I asked him.
UNDERWOOD: When did you ask the President?
PAISLEY: Yesterday, I jumped the White House fence, ran across the lawn, the door was wide open. He was in the East Room meeting and I said, "Mr. President, are you upset about this Taylor Swift situation?" and I'll never forget what he said.
UNDERWOOD: What did he say?
PAISLEY: No.
Exit question: Will there be an SNL skit about Obama's reaction to the election loss this weekend?
