Jason Cohen at the Daily Caller reported that CNN weekend host Michael Smerconish appeared on the Mediaite podcast to discuss "How Trump Beat the Media and Won Re-election." Host Aiden McLaughlin presented Smerconish as a "champion of moderation," which would certainly make you stand out at screamy CNN. He said all the media bias had a "boomerang effect."

A sometimes-amusing bout of liberal hand-wringing appeared in Sunday’s New York Times, as reporters John Leland and Hurubie Meko scoured the streets of Manhattan and found triumphant Trump supporters and scared but still pompous liberals.

In anticipation of President-elect Donald Trump ratcheting up the deportations of illegal aliens, MSNBC contributor Maria Hinojosa has been making appearances on the liberal news network urging President Biden to thwart Trump from keeping his campaign promise by pardoning illegals before the Democrat leaves office.

When last week Mika Brzezinski said that she and Joe Scarborough would like to have a face-to-face meeting with Trump, I wrote: "As for scoring an interview with Trump himself any time soon, don't bet the rent money at Polymarkets on it, Mika!" Oy, was I wrong! On today's Morning Joe, Mika announced that this past Friday, she and Joe did indeed meet with Trump at Mar-a-Lago. 

PBS’s weekly political roundtable Washington Week with the Atlantic gathered for the second time since Donald Trump’s reelection reeling from his proposed cabinet picks. New York Times Washington Bureau Chief Elisabeth Bumiller used aggressively antagonistic language to describe the picks. It's a "rogues' gallery," including Tulsi Gabbard, a "girlfriend" of the Russians.

As the Regime Media focus their attention on the Trump cabinet picks, it becomes essential to establish new narratives. The anchors and reporters will often do this themselves, but sometimes they will look the other way as politicians do so.

To comment on Trump's cabinet nominees, Sunday's episode of MSNBC's The Weekend has Chuck Rocha, a Democrat strategist, as a guest.  In his previous position as a senior union official, Rocha had been convicted of one count of felony embezzlement, and “acknowledged responsibility for the other 17 counts." Rocha compared Trump's nominees to the contents of a "junk drawer."  

Well that didn’t take long. President-elect Trump has barely announced his selections for various Cabinet posts and the liberal media starts firing journalistic broadsides at them.
