New York Times former editorial page editor Andrew Rosenthal, perhaps the most self-satisfied liberal on a Times staff that’s not exactly running short of them, was in rare form on the eve of the Republican Convention in Cleveland, going after multiple “racist” and bigoted GOP targets and comparing them to various notorious dictators.

Mike Pence as his running mate when he went off script and shocked breaking news anchor Brian Williams by insinuating that there will be violence at the Republican National Convention (RNC) like the 1968 Democratic National Convention (DNC).

In what is a recurring theme, Univision once again saves its most insanely biased analyses for its digital platform. This time the network comically welcomes Mike Pence to the Republican ticket, confirming every Establishment Media stereotype in the process.

On Friday's New Day, CNN analyst and former FBI Assistant Director Tom Fuentes played up the possibility of fatal gun violence at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland due to Ohio's open carry law: "[The] law means that you're going to see people — and some of the websites have already said for their protest groups to show up and openly carry assault rifles on the streets of Cleveland…

So far, Univision’s national evening newscast coverage of the GOP platform has solely focused on the border wall plank, but has completely missed another development of importance to many of their viewers: the inclusion of strong language endorsing Puerto Rican statehood in the Republican platform.

As we have noted previously, the wildest instances of bias by Univision News are now reflected on the network's digital platform. The latest instance comes via its coverage of the Republican National Convention's platform plank on the issue most essential to Univision's long-term survival: immigration.
