On Tuesday’s edition of Deadline: White House, host Nicole Wallace invited PBS Washington Week anchor Yamiche Alcindor on the show to join her continuing obsession over the January 6th riots. During this segment, she made the ludicrous assertion that GOP state voting laws are causing a “January 6th that's happening every single day.” 

After the first White House press briefing of 2022 was delayed a day because of the snowy weather in the Washington, D.C. area (totally not an omen), Tuesday’s edition of the Jen Psaki Show saw the White House Press Secretary fielding questions from the liberal press that urged President Biden to do more to pass “voting rights” legislation and bizarre suggestions that they had never condemned…

On Tuesday, CBS Mornings co-host Tony Dokoupil and Eurasia Group president Ian Bremmer sounded the alarm over the possibility of Republicans winning big in the 2022 midterm elections, something they hysterically labeled one of “the top global risks” in the year ahead. The pair claimed any GOP victory in the midterms or the 2024 presidential contest would be seen as “illegitimate.”

On her Monday afternoon show, MSNBC anchor Katy Tur tried to preemptively claim that elections results in 2022 and 2024 – contests in which Republicans are expected to do well –  would be illegitimate. She even wondered in there was a “contingency plan” in place for 2024 in case “there is another violent insurrection with millions of people.” 

On Sunday, CNN’s so-called “Reliable Sources” rang in 2022 with some New Year resolutions for the media (I guess that makes them News Year resolutions) at the end of the show. But there was only one resolution they wanted to stick to and it was to gaslight their audiences by making everything into a threat to democracy.

2022 is the Biden Administration’s first (and maybe only?) midterm election year. The result of which will ultimately decide the fate of the rest of the Democratic Party’s agenda. Knowing this, ABC’s Good Morning America decided to lie to their viewers and bemoan election integrity laws that are being passed in certain states around the country.

CNN’s Brian Stelter decided not to start the first episode of “Reliable Sources'' of 2022 on a good note. Instead Stelter continued to rehash the same tired ad hominem attacks he leveled all throughout 2021 by accusing his political opponents of “moving toward fascism”. 

Tiffany Cross was sipping a New Year's champagne cocktail on her MSNBC show this morning. Perhaps Cross could have used it to wash down a Prozac. Or two. Because the news she was getting from her panel about the 2022 elections was decidedly depressing for liberals like her: Joe Biden is dragging down Democrat candidates across the country. The New York Times is getting an anti-Republican hit piece in early. Correspondent Trip Gabriel devoted nearly 2,000 words to the U.S. Senate campaign of Dr. Oz, the television doctor who is now a candidate in Pennsylvania’s Republican primary, for a front-page story Monday, “Dubious Advice From TV Doctor In Senate Hunt.”

The Washington Post tried to whip out the generic “Republicans have pounced” cliché in order to spin some of the attention on skyrocketing prices away from President Joe Biden.

ABC’s This Week was caught off guard on Sunday with the news that Senator Joe Manchin is a firm no on the passage of Joe Biden’s Build Back Better bill.

TV celebrity Dr. Mehmet Oz is running for the U.S. Senate in Pennsylvania, in a crowded Republican field. The first controversy he's exploiting to build his campaign is the Philadelphia Inquirer insisting that they will NOT be calling him "Dr. Oz," even though is an actual doctor and professor of surgery.
