MSNBC Features 9/11 Truther to Blame Hurricane on Global Warming
August 27th, 2011 5:48 PM
On Friday's Dylan Ratigan Show, MSNBC contributor Touré, who is also a 9/11 truther, wondered if Hurricane Irene is an example of global warming. He speculated, "When you talk about an unusual weather event happening in New York and this sort of thing, is this really evidence of global warming to see this sort of a massive storm happening here?"
Touré is routinely featured on MSNBC, despite…
Open Thread: Bloomberg Excludes Clergy From 9/11 Ceremony
August 25th, 2011 10:30 AM
At just over two weeks out from the tenth anniversary of 9/11, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg is receiving harsh criticism for his decision to exclude clergy members from the 9/11 memorial ceremony. A Bloomberg spokesperson explained that the focus will be on the victims and their family members, not on religious leaders. Others added that it would be impossible to include a leader from…
Chris Matthews Connects 9/11 To Bush's August 2001 Vacation
August 21st, 2011 12:19 PM
As NewsBusters has been reporting, Obama-loving media have been working overtime excusing the President for taking a vacation at Martha's Vineyard as average Americans struggle in a down economy.
Perhaps the most disgusting example yet came on this weekend's "The Chris Matthews Show" when the host actually connected the attacks on 9/11 to former President George W. Bush's vacation in August…

July 13th, 2011 5:54 PM
He said it, he meant it, and there's no denying it.
On Monday, in a statement carried at the Washington Post, the Associated Press, the New York Times (Page A8 of Tuesday's print edition), and elsewhere, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta told U.S. troops at Camp Victory in Baghdad: "The reason you guys are here is because on 9/11 the United States got attacked. And 3,000 Americans — 3,000 not…

July 9th, 2011 12:03 PM
Bill Maher less than a week after the 9/11 attacks made an absurd comment on his "Politically Incorrect" program that led ABC to not renew his contract.
Almost ten years later, as the host of HBO's "Real Time," Maher is trying to revise history concerning what he said (video follows with transcripts and commentary):

June 24th, 2011 11:20 AM
The New York Times Friday reported two men were arrested in Seattle earlier in the week for plotting to attack a military processing center.

Big Gov's Taylor and King: Van Jones and His Group Organized 9/12/01 A
June 22nd, 2011 12:17 PM
At Big Government yesterday, Kristinn Taylor and Andrea Shea King compiled overwhelming evidence refuting one key element of a cease-and-desist letter sent to Fox News by lawyers for former Obama administration "green jobs" czar Van Jones. In doing so, they referenced and credited a video I posted in September 2009 of an anti-American rally in Oakland, California on September 12, 2001 where…
American Library Association Supports Wikileaks Suspect Manning
June 22nd, 2011 11:18 AM
It must be what's known in the military as "mission creep." Why else would an organization of professional librarians come out in support of the soldier alleged to be responsible for the largest security breach in U.S. military history?
When it meets for its annual conference in New Orleans June 23, the American Library Association will vote on a resolution calling on the Secretary of the…

June 21st, 2011 1:40 PM
While the prospect of a US withdrawal from Afghanistan is looming, some are at work pushing a revisionist history of America's involvement there. One NPR host even went so far as to claim that the Taliban, the brutal government toppled during the 2001 US invasion, "was never an enemy of the United States."
Even a cursory review of the history of the invasion belies that hat statement, made by…

May 31st, 2011 12:20 PM
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. lobbed incendiary accusations at the coal industry on "Morning Joe" today in a segment that devolved into a nearly 10-minute advertisement for his new anti-coal documentary.
The left-wing environmental activist juxtaposed fossil "fuels from Hell" with "patriotic fuels from Heaven," though neither co-host Joe Scarborough nor Mika Brzezinski pushed back.
"Right now the…
Let's Blame the Right for Everything: NY Times Ludicrously Labels
May 27th, 2011 3:26 PM
Is the right to blame for everything, even 9-11 Truthers?
New York Times Metro reporter Colin Moynihan botched some basic politics in his Friday metro section tribute to a leftist journalist and radio host, "At an On-Air Haven for Dissent, a Voice Is Silenced." Text box: "Taking a stand against 9/11 conspiracy theories."
Moynihan, who has made a cottage industry of issuing flattering…

May 10th, 2011 9:20 PM
Since the successful raid on Osama bin Laden's compound in Pakistan nine days ago, MSNBC has been playing highly-edited snippets from George W. Bush's March 13, 2002, press conference to make it appear the 43rd president had dropped the ball concerning the former al Qaeda leader.
Chris Matthews did this Tuesday during a Bush-bashing segment on "Hardball" (multi-part video follows with…
