This week CNN anchor Poppy Harlow again showed excitement about the trend toward allowing gay men to donate blood, but she also took the time to lament how long it has taken for the pet liberal cause to advance.

On Friday's PBS NewsHour, the show promoted another liberal pet cause as a segment was devoted to the efforts of gay activists who are demanding to have their blood accepted for blood transfusions.

On Thursday morning, CNN promoted the politically correct cause of making it easier for gay men to donate blood as CNN This Morning devoted a segment to the topic. Setting up the discussion, co-host Poppy Harlow even seemed to complain that Americans who are HIV positive (most of whom are gay men) are not allowed to donate blood.

The show even goes so far as to claim that late, former President Ronald Reagan was a "genocidal clown" during the height of the AIDS crisis in the 1980s.
