Lou Dobbs has resigned from CNN, and his final show aired last night. The departure is reportedly on amicable terms. Yesterday CNN's Rick Sanchez was set to go on air and issue an apology for running an unverified quote attributed to Rush Limbaugh. Breaking news of the now-infamous "balloon boy" intervened, and Sanchez was unable to deliver his apology.
