Speaking to Late Night host Seth Meyers on Wednesday about the recent Democratic presidential debate, MSNBC’s Chris Matthews conceded that self-described Democratic Socialist Bernie Sanders was more in line with the future of the Democratic Party than Hillary Clinton. 

The Media Research Center’s video department, MRCTV.org, was at the Democratic debate this past Tuesday in Las Vegas, Nev., asking politicians hard-hitting questions that the liberal media refuse to ask. During an appearance on PBS’ Charlie Rose on Wednesday night, New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman heaped praise on Hillary Clinton’s debate performance and proclaimed that her campaign was popping champagne corks from her New York headquarters “to Nevada where the debate took place.”

Leading off the Wednesday edition of MSNBC’s The Last Word, host Lawrence O’Donnell gave his best Chris Matthews “thrill up my leg” impression as he went overboard smiling and giggling over how the debate “went so well” for Hillary Clinton and “so perfectly that, at times, it was as if she had planned the whole thing” down to the questions and her chief opponent in socialist Bernie Sanders.  

The “big three” networks of ABC, CBS, and NBC offered on Wednesday night more analysis of the first 2016 Democratic presidential debate from the night before that can only be summed up a complete lovefest for Hillary Clinton for having “command[ed] the stage” and “retaken control of the conversation” as she goes “on the offensive.” NBC trumpeted on screen: “New Momentum.”

In another example of the media doing something that’s silly and bordering on the absurd, Wednesday’s edition of MSNBC Live with Kate Snow ended with a three-minute-plus segment comparing each of the 2016 Democratic presidential candidates to different types of sandwiches with Hillary Clinton being a Subway sandwich and Jim Webb resembling an egg salad sandwich.

On Wednesday's CNN Newsroom with Carol Costello, during a discussion of the Democratic presidential debate, liberal CNN political analyst Marc Lamont Hill defended Bernie Sanders' socialist views and griped about Hillary Clinton apparently taking a jab at the Vermont Senator as the CNN analyst complained that "she's playing to people's insecurities and fears," and "play[ing] to the cheap seats."

On Wednesday, NBC’s Today celebrated Tuesday night’s Democratic debate by heaping effusive praise on front-runner Hillary Clinton. On Wednesday’s The View, co-host Joy Behar gushed over Bernie Sanders’ performance at last night’s CNN Democratic debate and she proclaimed that the Socialist “aroused” her. The liberal ABC host gushed that Sanders was so “menschy in that moment like a real guy” when he defended Hillary Clinton from scrutiny over her e-mail scandal and insisted that she “find[s] him to be eye candy, not ear candy…
