What a joke. The same outlet that tried to paint America’s inflation situation before the 2024 election as Yankee Doodle Dandy! is doing the backstroke now that Donald Trump is president.

Politico either advertently or inadvertently just exposed the Democrats’ grotesque hypocrisy in trying to yoke President Donald Trump to the inflation-plagued economy that his predecessor's insane spending policies created. 

The media didn’t even wait for the first quarter of President Donald Trump’s second term to blame him for GDP events that transpired before he was even elected to office.

CNN, to no one’s surprise, tried to play Gotcha! by claiming President Donald Trump was “bucking” his campaign promise to cut prices immediately upon taking office, and ended up making the network look more idiotic than it already does. That is a feat unto itself.

After a few weeks of Shock and Awe, the Resistance vibe has fully returned to ABC Whirled News Tonight. A goofy item by Chief White House correspondent Mary Bruce demonstrates that the media have no playbook for Trump except the one they ran in 2017.

In the early days of the Second Trump Administration, it appeared that ABC World News Tonight had taken time to reflect and reconsider their ways, toning things down from their wild subservience to Joe Biden. Well, the time for reflection has ended. And based on the network’s hysterical coverage of all things DOGE and Elon Musk, it appears that they’re back to their old ways.

The early successes of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) in exposing rampant waste, fraud and abuse throughout the federal government have left the left scrambling- including their allies in the media. The resulting derangement rendered ABC News a crisis spokesperson for the beleaguered Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB).

So desperate are the media to discredit the work of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), and by extension that of Elon Musk, that they are willing to resort to rank fear mongering. As Major Garrett’s report for the CBS Evening News proves, they also seem to believe that their viewers are morons.

At less than three weeks into the second Trump administration, the Wall Street Journal somehow discerned on Friday that "The Mood of the American Consumer is Souring." But they only found one Trump voter whose mood had soured. 

Now that the Second Trump Administration is going through the vast federal bureaucracy looking to root out waste, fraud, and abuse through the innovative DOGE, there is a sudden interest in Congressional independence. On ABC This Week, that hypocritical sudden interest was swiftly called out.

The media are united in their purpose of trying to save government workers from the DOGE ax. Across the dial, each evening newscast devoted significant time to creating in their respective audiences an empathy for government bloat.
