Netflix’s infamously controversial series 13 Reasons Why has finally come to an end. In the era of coronavirus, stifling shutdowns, and terrible rioting, it’s nice that we can put at least one awful thing behind us. Sadly, the last ten episodes of the season keep pulling us back to these issues.

Over the course of the day on Monday, MSNBC repeatedly warned that Republicans may “seize” on left-wing calls to defund police departments across the country in an effort to “demonize” Democrats. There was less concern that the radical policy proposal was outside of the mainstream and could endanger public safety.

On Monday's The View, co-host Meghan McCain was the only host to grill Democrat guest, Senator Kamala Harris, about some Democrats calling to defund and/or abolish police departments across the country. On Monday, all three network morning shows seized on the radical push to defund and even dismantle police departments across the country. The extremism of the effort was downplayed, if mentioned at all. Instead, the Minneapolis mayor objecting to his city council voting to dismantle the entire local police force was treated as the real controversy.

Entertainment industry idiots consistently undermine their political agendas with some of the dumbest statements and most flagrant shows of hypocrisy. Rapper Ice Cube thought he was doing a good job fighting against racism and police brutality the other day, until he kneecapped himself by posting an antisemitic image in the name of fighting racial injustice.

After letting rioters burn down his city, Minneapolis mayor Jacob Frey came under fire from left-wing activists this week after he wouldn’t support the calls to defund and abolish his city’s police department. On Good Morning America Monday, the Democrat mayor faced more pushback from ABC anchor George Stephanopoulos to bow to the far-left’s radical demands.

The New York Times has changed its entire outlook on the dangers of the deadly coronavirus pandemic since protests against police racism started nearly two weeks ago. No more lectures about social distancing or masks. New York Times political reporter Matt Flegenheimer filed a panicky “Political Memo” for Wednesday’s edition: “Trump’s Bible Photo Op Further Divides Debate On State of Democracy.” It’s another brick in the edifice the paper is trying to construct portraying Trump as a danger to American democracy.

After MSNBC contributor Yamiche Alcindor says "some people think" that the military leaders who have criticized President Trump are "speaking out too late," Nicolle Wallace responds:

"I’m so glad you said that. You sort of popped the cork on my burning rage that they took so long to say this."

On Friday afternoon, MSNBC repeatedly gushed over Washington D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser ordering city workers to paint the words “Black Lives Matter” in bright yellow letters down 16th Street leading up to the White House. The left-wing cable channel hailed the political stunt as “a big yellow middle finger to the White House” and the newest “monument” in the nation’s capital.

Appearing as a guest on Sunday's AM Joy, MSNBC weekend host Ali Velshi again rationalized the actions of rioters as he got up on a soap box and preached about "institutional, socioeconomic injustice and racism" against the black population being the motivation for riots in Minneapolis and other cities. His commentary elicited an "amen" from liberal host MSNBC host Joy Behar.

Twitter has censored a tweet by Michelle Malkin, a conservative voice, while taking no action against similar tweets from other users.

"Apocalypse Now" would have been a fitting title for this Morning Joe segment from today's show. It featured three women painting a terrifying portrait of life under President Trump, and a prediction of further doom to come.
