The controversial Netflix series Dear White People was finally released on Friday, April 28, and let me tell you, the "dear" in the title is NOT a term of endearment. In fact, to quote one of the show's writers, F*** White People would probably have been more appropriate, with cops and Republicans being singled out for particular hatred.

If one totaled up the earnings of black Americans and considered us as a separate nation with our own gross domestic product, we would rank among the 20 richest nations.

Newark Mayor Ras Baraka (D) was recently on MSNBC’s PoliticsNation when he told host Al Sharpton that the Trump administration wanted to make sanctuary cities into “fugitive slave catchers” by withholding federal funding from such cities. Baraka made a point that he would defy they law when it came to illegal immigration.
