Nichols was pulled over for reckless driving according to the officers; they ordered him to get on the ground and to give them his hands; he did not comply and instead began to run. CBS host of The Late Show Stephen Colbert was not thrilled with Rep. Jim Jordan’s weekend comments that no law or amount of training would have prevented the death of Tyre Nichols.
