Indigenous Americans have been making strides in entertainment with two shows written by and for Native Americans- Reservation Dogs and Rutherford Falls. Unfortunately, in doing so, they’ve also promoted hatred and racism towards white people and often use exaggerated caricatures of white people as the butt of their jokes.

On Tiffany Cross's MSNBC show, Elie Mystal of The Nation says: "This is literally what conservative white folks do when they don't get their way. They turn violent . . . White people turn violent when they don't politically get their way. All the damn time in this country. It's what they do!" Cross agreed: "You are not opining."

The sequel to “Uncle Tom,” the 2020 documentary that I executive produced, just premiered. Watch it on uncletom.com. As with the first, Justin Malone brilliantly directs with Ryder Ansell and me co-writing. It is again beautifully scored by composer Damon Criswell. As of this writing, on the movie website IMDb, “Uncle Tom II” has a jaw-dropping 9.7 rating out of 10.
