On Friday morning, CNN host Jim Acosta opened the show with a segment fretting over President-elect Donald Trump planning a "radical ultranationalist agenda" as he was joined by Democrat Congressman Brendan Boyle of Pennsylvania.

Making several appearances Thursday on CNN to discuss the aftermath of Donald Trump winning the presidential election, CNN chief climate correspondent Bill Weir fretted over a second Trump administration's climate policies, and declared that the President-elect is "the most notorious climate denier in history" who will let the climate "go to hell."

Between Friday and Saturday, CNN ran reports by chief climate correspondent Bill Weir painting the climate as being at stake in the presidential election, heavily hinting that Democrat Kamala Harris would be better for the climate than Republican Donald Trump. he said "Imagine if Abraham Lincoln had lost in the 1860s or if Reagan had ignored the generals about the Soviet Union."

On Thursday's CNN This Morning, host Kasie Hunt devoted a segment to promoting the liberal view that there needs to be climate regulations to keep hurricanes and other natural disasters from getting worse in the future.
