Was it part of multimillionaire CBS comedian Stephen Colbert’s routine to look like a complete hypocrite by lecturing people about the morals of paying higher gas prices?

On Monday night's The ReidOut on MSNBC, host Joy Reid used the last segment of her prime-time show to exploit the war in Ukraine in order to play racial politics. Reid claimed that the reason the United States and the rest of the world care so much about Russia's invasion of Ukraine is because their population is "white and largely Christian"

Well, now they tell you. The network morning shows on Monday all admitted that ramping up oil production in the wake of the war in Ukraine will “take some time.” There was no mention of the Biden administration’s war on energy independence. And NBC’s Today mentioned buying an electric car instead to save money on gas.

Over at the Washington Free Beacon, the indefatigable Chuck Ross wrote on Saturday about the arrest of a freelance reporter with the taxpayer-funded Voice of America (VOA) who had been “arrested on suspicion of spying for Russia” “at the Poland-Ukraine border.”

When a president’s poll numbers are tanking, as the most recent Washington Post/ABC News poll shows they are for President Biden — 37 percent approval — he needed to do something spectacular, even radical, to keep him from sinking further. On CNN's Fareed Zakaria GPS, anchor Fareed Zakaria finally realized what a difficult situation the United States is in by not being energy independent and reliant on Russia for oil. Knowing that ceasing the purchase of oil from Russia will only drive up gas prices further, Zakaria on Sunday urged President Joe Biden to ramp up U.S. oil production.

On Sunday's Meet the Press on NBC, political director Chuck Todd regretted the fact that during his State of the Union address, President Joe Biden didn't make the connection between the war in Ukraine and the fight for "voting rights" in the United States. 

As Russia keeps increasing its attacks on Ukraine abroad, the partisan finger-pointing continues here at home. On Sunday's This Week on ABC, the "PowerHouse Roundtable" got heated when Former New Jersey Republican Governor Chris Christie rightly blamed President Joe Biden for the current situation in Ukraine.

Visa and Mastercard have both suspended operations in Russia as tensions escalated in the war with Ukraine. The effort was aims to crack down on Russia and encourage an end to the war.
