I love a British mystery as much as, if not more than, the next guy, but I could barely make it through Collateral on Netflix. It was like they had a social justice checklist and created a storyline around it, then added in some extra characters to check the boxes they'd missed.

NYT Turnabout on ‘Baffling’ Trump Comment on Sweden's Immigration Woes

March 6th, 2018 6:23 PM
A year after ridiculing President Trump for talking about it, the New York Times acknowledges that Sweden has a crime problem, and suggests very indirectly that it may have something to do with its loose immigration policy – just as the president insisted. In “Grenades and Gang Violence Rattle Sweden,” Ellen Barry and Christina Anderson used the incident of a man killed by a hand grenade in…

NYT's Haberman Compares Wikileaks Harm of HRC Campaign to 9-11 Attacks

February 20th, 2018 1:58 PM
Tuesday’s New York Times featured a humdrum personal profile of its own reporter, Maggie Haberman, whose only point of interest was an offensive comparison the White House reporter made between Michael Bloomberg’s 2001 run for mayor of New York City and Donald Trump’s run for president in 2016. In both cases, “an unprecedented form of terror in an election” resulted in an unlikely result. One was…

February 9th, 2018 4:50 PM
An article in Friday’s Washington Post about President Trump’s unorthodox intelligence briefings has become spin fodder for MSNBC talking heads, who would have their viewers believe that the President is utterly disinterested in matters of national security.

NYT Can't Grasp Why GOP Supports Israel, Blames 'Drastic' Trump'

January 22nd, 2018 4:25 PM
Max Fisher’s latest explainer piece in Monday’s New York Times, “How the Right Took Israel’s Side,” attacked President Trump and conservatives in general for supporting Israel for no good reason. After flubbing basic facts about the U.S. embassy move to Jerusalem in favor of anti-Israel assertions in December, Fisher again revealed himself untrustworthy on an issue he pays special attention to,…

NYT’s Cohen: ‘Terrorized Toadies’ Love Trump, ‘Mussolini’s Understudy'

December 24th, 2017 2:46 PM
The New York Times Roger Cohen composed an inspired masterpiece of anti-Trump oratorical obloquy: “Wondering, If This Is America.” Cohen, an international columnist for the paper born in London, mustered his high indignation not only of President Trump (aka “Mussolini’s understudy”) but of America itself. Cohen sold his Saturday edition article on Twitter as “Turkmenistan-on-the-Potomac: If This…

Amid NYC Terror Coverage MSNBC Panel Complains About Guns in America

December 11th, 2017 11:46 AM
As information was still coming in regarding Monday’s attempted terror attack in the New York City subway, an MSNBC panel discussing the news ridiculously shifted the topic to outrage over guns and gun crime in the U.S. And on top of that, they bemoaned how President Trump would try to make the attack an immigration issue to support his temporary travel ban.

December 11th, 2017 11:24 AM
An unfolding terrorist attack in New York City wasn’t enough to derail CNN’s obsession with Donald Trump. Forty minutes after suicide bomber Akayed Ullah on Monday attempted to murder people with a bomb, New Day journalists lost interest. Co-host Alisyn Camerota had more important topics: Trump’s appreciation of Diet Coke.

December 5th, 2017 6:15 PM
Betraying its obvious antagonism toward America’s ally Israel, and coddling the statehood hopes of Palestinians (along with much of the rest of the media), the New York Times reacted with alarm to the breaking news Tuesday that President Trump would recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and move the U.S. embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, Israel’s center of government since 1948.

For this past fall season, ABC’s Designated Survivor hasn’t been too shy about its liberal bias. From gun control arguments to racism to Republican slamming, there is no question where the show stands politically. However, when it comes to the United States overseas, President Kirkman might just lean a little to the right.
