During an exclusive interview with the widow of Muhammad Ali on Tuesday’s NBC Today, co-host Matt Lauer worried: “Muhammad's message was to bring people together, and we live in a time right now in this country, and around the world, when there’s so much division. And I wonder in the last years of his life, was he disappointed and distressed by that?”

On multiple occasions throughout Thursday’s Hardball on MSNBC, liberal host Chris Matthews made his feelings clear that he was livid at the Obama administration over revelations hours earlier that they indeed waited to give Iran $400 million that they claimed to have been repayment for money frozen during the 1979 revolution until four American hostages had left Iran. 

Giving proper coverage to the heartbreaking and tear-jerking scene out of Aleppo, Syria with a bloody and dusty young boy sitting in an ambulance, MSNBC/NBC’s Andrea Mitchell devoted a full segment to the matter on Thursday afternoon but of course made no mention of President Barack Obama or his administration’s inaction in Syria to dispose of the Assad regime or ISIS in the over five years since…

This June was marked by a wave of radical Islamic terrorist attacks – in Turkey, in Orlando, in a Paris suburb, in Israel, and elsewhere around the world. As the bodies piled up and nations were gripped with grief and rage, broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) did their best to call the horror anything other than the work of terrorists.

Words cannot express how profoundly disturbing it is that the mainstream media refuses to address the Christian genocide currently underway across the Muslim world. Of all the ridiculous and irrelevant topics such outlets give voice to on a nightly basis, apparently the attempted extermination of Christians in the Middle East still remains inconsequential.  

Appearing on MSNBC in the 10 a.m. ET hour on Tuesday to perform a supposed “fact check” of Donald Trump’s Monday foreign policy speech, PolitiFact editor Angie Holan denounced the Republican nominee’s statement that “The rise of ISIS is the direct result of policy decisions made by President Obama and Secretary of State Clinton.”

What does it take for lefty Democrats to be convinced that the U.S. should intervene in a foreign country to protect innocent life? As we learned in BrainDead’s “The Path to War Part One: The Gathering Political Storm,” it is a warm and fuzzy picture of a baby seal. Those big eyes did what human exploding heads couldn’t – brought a female lefty to tears.

Christians in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia are suffering massive, sustained and very bloody persecution at the hands of Muslim extremists. The three broadcast networks are reluctant to report on it, let alone call the atrocity what it is (and what the Obama administration has admitted it is): genocide

Reacting to Huffington Post reporter Laura Bassett highlighting during Tuesday’s Hardball that a Donald Trump advisor recently “called for Hillary to face a firing squad” for her handling of Benghazi in light of Trump’s new gun comments, MSNBC host Chris Matthews used the occasion to bloviate about how he “keep[s] wondering what she did in Benghazi” that has people so upset.
