When it comes to interviews with Joe Biden’s potential VP candidates, MSNBC rolls out the red carpet and treats them like celebrities promoting their latest movie. During Tuesday’s Deadline: White House, viewers were treated to yet another softball joke of an interview with one of the far-left contenders, this time California Senator Kamala Harris.

If you take a look at what the media says and does these days, it really is no surprise that most Americans can’t trust what they say or even take them seriously. Case in point, Tuesday's late afternoon segment of MSNBC Live, where Democrats were brought on to simply campaign for other Democrats.

In the aftermath of President Donald Trump declaring Thursday night on Fox News Channel that he would take action against rioters who are tearing down statues, MSNBC anchors Brian Williams and Chris Jansing both fretted over his words, and did not clarify that his comments were aimed at violent protesters.

One of the headlines to come out of Super Tuesday was the long voting lines in certain places in Texas, which provided the Wednesday afternoon edition of MSNBC Live an opportunity to float yet another round of voter suppression conspiracy theories.

On Tuesday afternoon, MSNBC anchor Chris Jansing decided to check in with one of her favorite Democratic activist groups as she looked ahead to the 2020 general election. Having promoted the group Swing Left leading up to the 2018 midterms, Jansing touted how the organization was already working to “build a war chest and a volunteer infrastructure” to defeat President Trump in November.

MSNBC Live guest host Chris Jansing welcomed California Democratic Rep. Ted Lieu on her Thursday show for a softball interview where she asserted that Republicans are having a difficult time figuring out right from wrong. Towards the end of the segment, she again flunked basic civics.

On Monday’s Morning Joe, MSNBC anchor Joe Scarborough revealed that he has been inundated with “panicked calls” from Democrats terrified by the prospect of President Trump winning reelection due to the weak 2020 Democratic field. He recalled desperate liberal voters asking him, “Joe, what do we do?”

President Trump was just acquitted on impeachment charges that Democrats threw against the wall in hopes that they would stick, so naturally MSNBC Live was that, unlike Bill Clinton, he refused to apologize and took a victory lap at the White House Thursday afternoon.  

The New York Times editorial board's decision to endorse two candidates, Senators Elizabeth Warren and Amy Klobuchar, was met with both confusion and mockery.
