Listening to MSNBC’s Chris Matthews reverential description of impeachment on Wednesday, evidently Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi’s “prayerful” demeanor is rubbing off on her fellow Democrats. Swept up in the excitement of the House preparing to vote to impeach President Trump, the Hardball host labeled the partisan process “sacramental.”

While the U.S. House of Representatives’ impeachment hearings were playing out in the background, MSNBC anchor Chris Matthews turned to Jon Meacham, the channel’s liberal presidential historian, and asked him to discuss House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s use of this “opportunity” to attack Donald Trump and try to throw him out of office. Unlike CNN, MSNBC’s Hardball didn’t surrender its entire hour Wednesday to the House Judiciary Committee debate on the Articles of Impeachment, but considering all the nonsense uttered by host Chris Matthews and an assortment of guests, perhaps it would have been better to follow CNN’s lead.

Along with their over-the-top nonsense about the perils of not impeaching and removing President Trump, panelists on Tuesday’s Hardball argued that President Bill Clinton shouldn’t have been impeached because, unlike the Ukraine phone call, the crimes he committed never hurt anyone and didn’t harm the country in any way whatsoever.

With an array of guests, MSNBC’s Hardball host Chris Matthews brought the histrionics on Tuesday after House Democrats finally unveiled Articles of Impeachment against Donald Trump, boasting that they were “push[ing] President Donald Trump closer to the brink of infamy” led by the “boss” (aka House Speaker Nancy Pelosi).

For the liberal national media, an unofficial part of any job title must include attacking Fox News in an either occasional or permanent capacity for all that ills America. The task fell to MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle and Chris Matthews on Tuesday afternoon as the pair blamed FNC for the lack of overwhelming public support for impeaching and removing President Trump from office.

Instead of memory-holing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s lashing out at Sinclair’s James Rosen on Thursday morning, the liberal media decided to play it up as a testament to Pelosi’s “stunning” leadership and MSNBC’s Hardball did just that, boasting that she was “fierce” in what “may have been her finest hour.”

That’s right, folks. On Tuesday’s Hardball, MSNBC contributor and former Obama administration lackey Ben Rhodes bemoaned President Trump’s foreign policy as “fundamentally corrupting,” “not how our government is supposed to work,” and “a criminal enterprise...that...was not in the U.S. national interest” that’s unrivaled in our history.
