Apparently MSNBC anchor Hallie Jackson has forgotten the concept of federalism. At least that’s the way in appeared on Thursday, when she suggested that the United States Senate should somehow intervene in a dispute between Republicans and Democrats over changes to the state government in Wisconsin.

Bush, early Monday afternoon, an MSNBC panel spent more time mourning the state of the Republican Party under President Trump than remembering the 41st president. On Friday, NBC’s Today show bemoaned President Trump denouncing illegal immigration on the campaign trail ahead of the midterm elections, claiming he was going “all-in on the fear factor” before voters went to the polls on Tuesday. Of course just days earlier, all three networks were touting the progress of a caravan of thousands of migrants from Central America heading for the U.S. border.

In a disturbing example of just how far down the gutter they had sunk, Tuesday’s NBC Nightly News featured back-to-back reports hyping opponents of President Trump deriding him and First Lady Melania Trump in a sexual manner. In sharp contrast, their broadcast network competitors CBS Evening News and ABC’s World News Tonight were classy enough to leave the low brow attacks out of their programs.
