CBS This Morning hosts on Thursday were very worried about the impact of Anthony Kennedy’s retirement from the Supreme Court, fretting that abortion rights are “doomed” with the vacancy being the “final nail in the coffin.” 

Despite the majority opinion declaring that the ban did not target Muslims, the liberal media continued to allude to it as such. During their evening broadcasts, ABC, CBS, and, NBC all pushed some form of frightful future for America either stemming from the Supreme Court’s decision or from the possibility of Trump getting to add another conservative justice.

The highest court in the land sided with Phillips because the Colorado Civil Rights Commission subjected him to what could be argued was anti-religious bigotry. But despite the historic nature of the ruling, broadcast network news outlets ABC and NBC were more relieved that the ruling had a “limited” scope and seemingly only applied to this one case.

CBS on Tuesday finally noticed a big win by the White House in the Supreme Court. Barely. The journalists on This Morning only allowed a scant 51 seconds to Donald Trump’s travel ban being allowed (for now) to go into effect. This is after the network ignored the 7-2 victory on Monday.

On Monday morning, even rumors about the possibility of Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy retiring sent the network morning shows into panic mode. Reporters wrung their hands over the potential that President Trump could replace the high court’s “swing vote” and make it “solidly conservative for decades.”

In a day dedicated to live testimony of Jeff Sessions about the Russian investigation, two journalists at CBS actually circled back to a potentially big problem for Comey and his liberal defenders: Whether or not he broke the law by leaking documents to the media.
