After the Justice Department recently released two reports documenting crime trends in the U.S., the liberal media seized on the less accurate of the two to portray crime as being down in spite of violent crime rates (primarily in Democrat-run parts of the country) actually being up compared to five years earlier.

The erasure of Joe Biden from the national political scene continues apace. Day 2 of the 2024 Democratic National Convention will be remembered for the Regime Media’s collective pining for their favorite president. Case in point, CNN’s John King.

Joining CNN Newsroom on Sunday evening to react to President Joe Biden’s announcement that he will be ending his re-election bid, chief national correspondent John King predicted that “you can be certain that racism and sexism” will be directed against Vice President Kamala Harris as she replaces Biden as the likely Democratic nominee.

Moments after concluding their presidential debate Thursday night, CNN journalists were in a full-blown panic over President Biden’s performance. They were disturbed by Biden’s “problematic” and “dismal” performance and admitted they were hearing from very senior Democrats that they were seriously thinking about removing Biden from the top of the ticket.

CNN’s Friday edition of Inside Politics turned into a Biden 2024 ad as host John King previewed Biden’s Oval Office address on the debt limit deal by asking his assembled panel if he could make “centrism, compromise sexy.”

In 2016, former CBS head honcho Les Moonves said Donald Trump’s presence in politics “may be bad for America, but it’s damn good for CBS.”  Clearly Mooves was not the only network head to have made such an assessment. On Thursday, just on CNN and MSNBC, Trump was mentioned by name a whopping 399 times between 6:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. ET.

Monday, April 24, 2023 will go down as one of the more bizarre and consequential days in modern cable news as, nearly an hour after Fox News shockingly announced it had “agreed to part ways” with Tucker Carlson, CNN This Morning co-host Don Lemon claimed he was informed through his agent that he had “been terminated by CNN.”
