The horrific murder of a woman on the New York City subway, by involuntary immolation at the hands of an illegal migrant, has shocked the nation while going almost unreported on the “legacy” networks. Today NBC Nightly News broke the ice, leaving ABC Whirled News Tonight as the lone network holdout.

The Regime Media, with just weeks remaining in the Biden presidency, appear uncertain as to how to cover one of his big legacy items: the commutation of 37 out of 40 federal death row inmates. Evening news coverage ranged from treating it as an afterthought to making it all about Biden. 

It appears that the Regime Media, which just a few months ago breathlessly covered every aspect of civil and criminal litigation against former and future President Donald J. Trump, now have little interest in updating the status of one of the pending trials. The Regime Media went into full meltdown mode over the death of the 1500-page cromnibus bill that went down in flames once DOGE chairs Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy became aware of some of the bill’s provisions. D.C. media reacted at the very un-D.C. pressure placed upon the cromnibus with equal parts shock and horror.

At this stage, the motive of the Madison school shooter seems pretty clear, but the network news seems hesitant to report what it is. Of course, this generally means that the motive is inconvenient to prevailing leftwing narratives or identity politics. This case is not the exception.

Between Thursday night and Friday morning, ABC, CBS, and NBC used their flagship morning and evening newscasts to promote a disinformation campaign first launched by The Bulwark’s Sam Stein to use President-Elect Trump’s comments about grocery prices to argue he can’t and won’t improve the lives of struggling Americans.

Without evidence of any kind, NBC Nightly News anchor recklessly linked Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield’s reversal of a coverage decision to the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. Such a move does not render a public service, but instead further inflames the public discourse.

Incoming Border Czar Tom Homan made a visit to the Texas part of the U.S. southern border. Under normal circumstances, this would warrant across-the-board coverage from the “mainstream media”, given how much of a departure Homan's visit is from border enforcement. But the CBS Evening News found zero time for the new Border Czar.

NBC’s coverage of the Laken Riley murder verdict in Athens, Georgia called upon familiar tropes that might lead viewers to believe that they are watching Telemundo instead. Immigration advocacy was presented to viewers as a substitute for journalism.

We are on Day Two of the Capitol Hill Bathroom Cycle, which shows no sign of abating. CBS and NBC have now taken up the cause of the transgender member of Congress who is, as of today, NOT allowed to use women’s facilities due to being a biological male. 

The Regime Media’s shift into Resistance mode continues apace. The major media outlets uniformly melted down over President Elect Donald Trump’s decision to nominate Robert F. Kennedy to lead the nation’s public health apparatus as Secretary of Health and Human Services.

For all the media brouhaha about the supposed strength of the Biden-Harris administration’s jobs market, NBC’s flagship evening news show didn’t even bother to report on the "worst"  jobs report in years released just before Election Day. 

The media fearmongering about pro-lifers is nothing new. Admitting the fears are false, but fearmongering anyway is something different. Yet, that is exactly what NBC’s Dasha Burns did on Friday’s edition of Nightly News as she traveled to Missouri ahead of that state’s upcoming abortion ballot measure.
