MSNBC Panel Paints White Voters as Rejecting Democrats as 'Black Party

June 19th, 2012 7:06 AM
On Sunday's Melissa Harris-Perry show on MSNBC, as host Harris-Perry led a discussion of what the presidential candidates will need to do to appeal to white voters, panel member and CNBC contributor Keith Boykin asserted that Republicans have "carefully caricatured" the Democratic Party as the "party of black people," and suggested that Americans have been duped into believing that most federal…

Newsweek Headline: 'Is Barack Obama Too Weak to Win in November

June 5th, 2012 9:45 AM
It's becoming clearer with each passing day the Obama-loving media are now in a full-scale panic that the man they helped get elected in 2008 is in serious trouble to repeat that feat in 2012. Take for example Newsweek/Daily Beast which published a piece moments ago with the somewhat shocking headline, "Is Barack Obama Too Weak to Win in November?":

May 29th, 2012 2:49 PM
It's only natural that the leftists at the Daily Kos would whole-heartedly agree with the sentiment of MSNBC weekend host Chris Hayes that our military men and women aren't "heroes." In a piece headlined "Stand Up for Chris Hayes," a blogger with the byline "mcgoverngreatpatriot" insisted that "dating back to Viet Nam, I have known many who have fallen in wars, and they were anything but heroes…

The article's headline mocked, "Republicans love to act like tough guys. Yet it’s the Democrat in the White…

Take Michael Tomasky of Newsweek/The Daily Beast, who chalks up President Obama's trouble in recent opinion polls to his spin doctor team in the White House (emphasis mine):

Newsweek's Tomasky: Huntsman a 'Narrow Thread of Hope' for GOP

August 23rd, 2011 12:12 PM
Newsweek's Michael Tomasky counts himself as one of many "impressed liberal[s]" who are heartened by Jon Huntsman's attacks on Rick Perry. Writing yesterday on the Daily Beast website, Tomasky suggested the former Utah governor was "a narrow thread of hope about the future" of the GOP dominated by both leaders and rank-and-file primary voters who are far from "reasonable." As such, Huntsman…

Newsweek's Tomasky: Obama's Screwed Because He Naively Believes in 'Ci

August 8th, 2011 6:29 PM
To Michael Tomasky, Barack Obama's problem is not lack of leadership or a rigid fixation to liberal ideology. No, it's just that the president is too darn decent a guy, a veritable Mr. Smith who's gone to Washington, but perhaps in this case without the Capraesque happy ending:
