In the hours following President Barack Obama’s campaign stop for Hillary Clinton on Tuesday afternoon in Philadelphia, MSNBC’s Chris Matthews was beyond giddy at the “magical” stump speech but he was later joined by Brian Williams, who declared on The 11th Hour that Obama will go down as “a communicator who can deliver” enthusiasm “unlike anything we have ever seen.”

The issue of Hillary Clinton’s attempt to hide her dramatic health scare from the American public certainly is a legitimate one. But, perhaps, Brian Williams isn’t the person to examine such a story. Yet, that’s who MSNBC had anchoring a discussion of the Democrat’s honesty, a man with his own questionable attachment to the truth. 

During the MSNBC/NBC Commander-in-Chief Forum Matt Lauer, co-host of NBC’s Today, hammered Hillary Clinton repeatedly about her e-mail scandal, much to Clinton’s chagrin.
