During breaks in MSNBC’s live coverage of Attorney General Jeff Sessions testifying before Congress on Tuesday, anchors Andrea Mitchell and Katy Tur were both aghast that congressional Republicans urged the nation’s top law enforcement official to launch an investigation into numerous scandals swirling around Bill and Hillary Clinton.

On her MSNBC show on Monday, anchor Andrea Mitchell brought two different Democratic lawmakers to brush aside serious questions about Hillary Clinton and the DNC funding the infamous Russian dossier against Donald Trump. The host even teed up a soundbite of Clinton herself mocking journalists who actually covered the story.

In yet another example of MSNBC haughtily dismissing the Uranium/Clinton/Russia scandal, on Tuesday, after the House Intelligence Committee announced a new investigation into the Obama administration deal, anchors Andrea Mitchell and Craig Melvin touted Hillary Clinton denouncing the story as “nonsense” and “baloney.”  

On her primetime show Thursday night, MSNBC anchor Rachel Maddow peddled an unsubstantiated conspiracy theory that somehow the Trump administration’s travel ban led to the deaths of four U.S. special forces soldiers in Niger. The accusation was then repeated on Friday by fellow MSNBC host Andrea Mitchell despite a complete lack of evidence.

On her MSNBC show on Thursday, host Andrea Mitchell sounded the alarm for her left-wing audience as she warned: “Well, President Trump, of course, is making headlines every day, every hour, but Vice President Mike Pence largely flying under the radar....Joining me now is staff writer of The New Yorker, Jane Mayer, who wrote the story, ‘The Danger of President Pence’...”

Discussing the growing list of sexual harassment and rape allegations against left-wing Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein on her MSNBC show Wednesday afternoon, anchor Andrea Mitchell saw a chance to deflect away from the scandal swirling around the prominent Democratic Party donor to instead attack conservative Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.

On Friday, MSNBC anchor Andrea Mitchell and veteran CBS journalist Bob Schieffer feared Donald Trump was trying to undermine American democracy by “demonizing the mainstream media.” Appearing on the show to hawk his new book, Overload, about “the changing landscape of the media,” Schieffer warned against the President’s supposed “dangerous” effort to “undermine the press.” 

Leading off a fawning panel discussion on Tuesday about Hillary Clinton’s new memoir rehashing the 2016 campaign, MSNBC anchor Andrea Mitchell promised viewers a “big scoop” as she promoted the failed Democratic nominee’s “latest admission to Susan Page of USA Today that she is convinced associates of Donald Trump’s campaign helped Russia meddle in the election.”

After MSNBC spent the weekend exploiting Hurricane Irma’s devastation of Florida to push the climate change agenda, on Monday, anchor Andrea Mitchell turned to Daily Beast Politics Editor Sam Stein and worried: “...climate change. It is something – Sam, you’ve been writing about this – something that has not been raised in much of the coverage.”

On Wednesday's Andrea Mitchell Reports on MSNBC, a panel that included host Mitchell, Washington Post columnist Jonathan Capehart, and New York Times reporter Yamiche Alcindor spent several minutes fretting over Trump administration immigration policy with Alcindor suggesting that it would "enact racist laws." Filling in for Andrea Mitchell during MSNBC’s 12 p.m. ET hour on Thursday, anchor Kasie Hunt noted that Vice President Mike Pence had just arrived in Texas to tour storm damage and meet with victims of Hurricane Harvey, claiming he was taking “a different tack than the President took when he visited the region on Monday.”

Moments after President Trump condemned white supremacists by name during a White House address on Monday about the violence in Charlottesville, a panel of MSNBC reporters and pundits immediately proclaimed that the President “didn’t do enough” and should not get credit for meeting the “lowest possible bar.”  

In a glowing softball interview on Monday with third-party Utah congressional candidate Jim Bennett, son of the late Senator Robert Bennett, MSNBC anchor Andrea Mitchell eagerly set up the former Republican to explain why he left the party and how the GOP had “failed” him.

After all three broadcast networks fretted Wednesday morning over the Justice Department taking steps to challenge Affirmative Action policies that may discriminate against white students, on her 12 p.m. ET hour MSNBC show, anchor Andrea Mitchell worried the move had the “potential to reopen long decided cases of Affirmative Action, which is alarming civil rights groups and academic institutions…
