January 29th, 2024 11:14 PM

Today in federal court, the source of a major story involving stolen tax information was sentenced to a five-year prison term. Given how the story was covered, you’d expect at least minimal coverage across the major evening newscasts. But, alas, this wasn’t the case across the board.

January 26th, 2024 1:27 AM

January 25th, 2024 4:09 PM

Is Water Wet? Nets Swoon in Wonder Over Leftist UAW Backing Biden

January 25th, 2024 1:17 PM

Is water wet? Is the sky blue? What’s the logo of Target? These questions all seem obvious, but the question of who would receive the 2024 presidential endorsement of the far-left United Auto Workers was big news for the “big three” of ABC, CBS, and NBC on Wednesday night and Thursday morning. As such, they marveled at the “powerful” union’s “big endorsement” of President Biden as he “[h]it[s…

NBC Hypes Pro-Abort High Schoolers As It, ABC, CBS Skip March For Life

January 20th, 2024 11:42 AM

The Friday evening and Saturday morning shows for ABC, NBC, and CBS all ignored Friday’s 51st annual March for Life in Washington, D.C. where thousands turned out in the cold and the snow to protest the killing of the unborn. Friday’s NBC Nightly News was the worst offender because not only did they ignore pro-lifers, they actively promoted pro-abortion high schoolers.

NBC Avoids Reporting on Fani Willis Misconduct Hearing on Trump Case

January 19th, 2024 12:09 AM

Some of our major networks made an editorial decision not to cover the upcoming hearing, ordered by the judge overseeing the Trump trial in Atlanta, regarding misconduct allegations against Fulton County prosecutor Fani Willis. We are thus reminded of that great Iowahawk quote: “Journalism is about covering important stories, With a pillow. Until they stop moving.”

Nets OMIT DoJ's Inconvenient Filing on Migrant Drowning Deaths

January 17th, 2024 12:00 AM

As is often the case, the network newscasts will tout a narrative that is friendly to Democrats in power. In this case, that would be the Biden administration. But as is also often the case, the networks will shut down or suppress new information that will contravene that narrative. Such is the case with the ongoing battle between Texas and the Biden Department of Homeland Security over a…

Regarding the latest network coverage (or lack thereof) Wednesday night and Thursday morning concerning Hunter Biden’s life of corruption, we’ve got some good news and we’ve got some bad news. The bad news? ABC, CBS, and NBC saw no problem with Hunter’s shameless stunt appearing before the House Oversight Committee as they debated a contempt of Congress resolution. The good news was Thursday’s…

'AWFUL' CBS’s O’Donnell Praises St. Paul MN's All-Female City Council

January 9th, 2024 10:19 PM

The “AWFUL” in the title is not an indictment in se of CBS Evening News anchor Norah O’Donnell’s jubilant report on St. Paul, Minnesota’s new, diverse, all-female city council, but an acronym: Affluent, White, Female, University-educated, and Liberal; the type that would reflexively cheer this story. And in O’Donnell’s case, foist it upon others by selecting it to close out the…

As for how they did between Thursday morning and Friday morning, it was truly a mixed bag for ABC, CBS, and NBC in terms of highlighting former…
