CBS This Morning

On Tuesday, the left-wing hosts of CBS This Morning all radically advocated that convicted felons should have the right to vote, claiming that anyone losing that right as punishment for their crimes was “ridiculous,” “mind-boggling,” and “wrong.” They predictably suggested racism was the motivation for the legal restriction.

CBS on Friday finally discovered the bombshell Wall Street Journal scoop that the Biden administration was warned by the U.S. embassy of impending chaos if he didn’t change course. Yet CBS This Morning allowed just a scant 50 seconds on the disturbing development. Still, at least the network covered it. NBC on Thursday night and Friday morning is still hiding the revelations. 

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg told CBS This Morning host Gayle King that his platform has removed over 18 million pieces of so-called “misinformation,” but King appeared to want more. She pressed Zuckerberg to reveal how many people view the content before it is taken down.

The unfolding disaster in Afghanistan is so bad that, day after day, some prominent mainstream journalists are having trouble parroting the White House’s talking points. Yesterday, Chuck Todd hammered Joe Biden for losing his “competency” card. On Wednesday, reliably liberal Gayle King grilled Biden’s U.N ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield on the ridiculousness of trusting the Taliban. 

Appearing on Tuesday’s CBS This Morning, retired general and former National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster not only blasted President Biden’s disastrous decision to recklessly surrender Afghanistan to the Taliban but completely blew up the broadcast network’s “false narrative” that the Afghan people wanted the U.S. out.

The shocking fall of Afghanistan to the Taliban is such a failure that even the liberal networks on Monday have abandoned Joe Biden (at least for now), hammering the President as “completely wrong” and executing a Vietnam-esque Saigon “debacle.”

In the last 24 hours, the Taliban has swept through major parts of Afghanistan, taking their tenth major city. And while the networks all gave that substantial coverage on Wednesday night and Thursday morning, one person was mostly missing: Joe Biden. The evening newscasts and morning shows barely mentioned the President of the United States, just 28 seconds

On Wednesday, the network morning shows were already eager to get out the pom-poms and cheerleader for Democrats wasting trillions of taxpayer dollars on a radical socialist agenda. Hosts on NBC, ABC, and CBS touted Senate approval to begin debate on the massive $3.5 trillion boondoggle as “another big step to push through President Biden’s agenda.”

Aside from the sexual abuse allegations, “many” think Andrew Cuomo handled issues like Covid “masterfully.” That was the totally out-of-touch claim from CBS This Morning journalist Ed O’Keefe on Wednesday as he tried to spin the story of the disgraced governor. O’Keefe, of course, made no mention of the Democrat’s disastrous decision to kill thousands by placing Covid-positive…

CBS deserves credit sometimes for doing real journalism, even in the network’s reporters are shocked at what they find out. On Tuesday, CBS This Morning reporter Mireya Villarreal looked at the threat of Covid crossing the border in the form of illegals entering into Texas. She deemed it an issue that has “caught the attention of conservatives,” such as Ron DeSantis.  But when…

Reporter Ben Tracy hit the Biden administration from the left, demanding the Democrat do even more to force the auto industry into a full embrace of electric cars.
