Wednesday morning, all three networks displayed their allegiance to the Democrat party by continuing to completely ignore a huge scandal that broke yesterday about how Jill and Joe Biden met. Even as the former second lady appeared on ABC, NBC and CBS’s morning shows for interviews, the journalists used the opportunity to schmooze with Biden and throw softball questions instead.

CBS This Morning co-host Gayle King is steeped in the Democratic Party. She donates to Democrats. She vacationed with Democrats and has lobbied her Democratic-leaning friend Oprah Winfrey to run for president. All of that would be fine except for the fact that King is allowed to operate as though she was a real, objective journalist. She isn’t.  

CBS This Morning on Monday jumped on Donald Trump’s executive action to provide economic relief in the wake of the pandemic, dismissing it as “annoying” and “just like static electricity.” Not even attempting to hide disdain, Major Garrett also chided the “complicated” and “unworkable aspects.” This is not what he had to say about Barack Obama’s DACA action back in 2014. 

Another day, another Joe Biden gaffe that journalists will have to cover for. During a round of interviews with Hispanic and African American journalists, the presumptive Democratic nominee on Tuesday essentially said that all Blacks are alike. And while the latest gaffe has been covered on Fox News and (briefly) on CNN, where is the rest of the media? Where are the networks? 

CBS This Morning has been covering for Andrew Cuomo for months, desperately censoring news about Andrew Cuomo’s disastrous policy of forcing nursing homes to take corona patients. On Wednesday, the program covered the story, but only as a way of bashing red state Florida for the system it set up. 

Journalists and media outlets have been bolstering Joe Biden’s basement strategy, allowing the Democrat to largely avoid tough questions. Well, he got one on Wednesday as CBS reporter Errol Barnett pressed him on cognitive decline.

If there’s a “minor league” for Joe Biden vice presidential possibilities, the place they go and practice while hoping for a call up to the big leagues, it’s CBS This Morning. The show has repeatedly offered up softball, gushing interviews to possible 2020 running mates. On Tuesday, Jericka Duncan interviewed Susan Rice and never once mentioned her role in the Benghazi debacle. 

New documents in the Jeffrey Epstein sex abuse case dropped late on Thursday with a potential bombshell. A person now places Bill Clinton at the pedophile’s private sex island. All three networks on Friday devoted a total of 7 minutes and 26 seconds to the development, but NEVER mentioned that the former Democratic president has been named.
