One of the two shooters at a high school in Colorado hated Christians, Republicans and praised Barack Obama. Yet none of the networks have, so far, covered his angry social media posts. This is in contrast to other occasions when they have tried to pin violence on conservative ideology. 

Former CBS anchor Katie Couric was welcomed back to CBS This Morning on Thursday to plug her new Internet project  with the drug-maker Merck. It's for cancer patients and it titled "With Love, Me." CBS This Morning on Tuesday actually covered the heartbeat bill working its way through Georgia’s state house, deeming it a “controversial” and “restrictive” attempt at stopping abortion. This same network offered no coverage when New York state legalized late-term abortion (and certainly didn’t find the bill “controversial.”)

Early on Monday, the news became official that co-host Norah O’Donnell is leaving CBS This Morning to become the new anchor of the Evening News. Also departing is co-host John Dickerson. Considering that disgraced co-host Charlie Rose departed in 2017 amidst sexual harassment claims, that leaves Gayle King as the incumbent star and power broker at This Morning. What does that mean for objectivity…

CBS This Morning on Monday again allowed Gayle King interview Cory Booker. King and the 2020 Democratic presidential candidate are personal friends and the co-host has been a supporter in the past. Booker jokingly worried he would get “tougher questions.” But instead, King simply wondered if his gun control plan could pass and if Booker will marry his actress girlfriend. 

It became official on Monday as Norah O’Donnell has been announced the new anchor and managing editor of the CBS Evening News. Discussing it on CBS This Morning,  a clearly excited O’Donnell enthused, “This is a great moment... On Friday morning, as the networks informed viewers that Facebook has banned several controversial political groups and individuals from having an account, ABC, CBS, NBC, and MSNBC all failed to inform viewers that Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan has been tied to the left, even while the same shows made a point of using terms like "far-right" to describe others affected by the ban.

The co-hosts of CBS This Morning on Friday eagerly plotted strategy with 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Amy Klobuchar. They also helpfully ignored the reports that the Senator is an abusive boss who treats people terribly. According to the New York Post’s Page Six and Variety, the CBS News is about to undergo some serious personnel changes. In addition to Bianna Golodryga’s previous departure, co-hosts John Dickerson and Norah O’Donnell have been booted from CBS This Morning for correspondent Tony Dokoupil and CBS This Morning: Saturday co-host Anthony Mason to team with Obama donor and family friend Gayle King.

The journalists on CBS This Morning, Thursday, were excited by the Democratic grilling of Attorney General William Barr. After speculating about whether Barr would be held in contempt of Congress, analyst Rikki Klieman praised Klobuchar’s attacks on the AG as very effective: “I thought Amy Klobuchar gets an A-plus because she had a goal in her questions and she got to it.” 

The media has chosen, so far at least, to ignore more anti-American comments from U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN). In an interview May 1, Omar attacked the U.S. for being the reason why its citizens were starving and getting mowed down in the street by its socialist government regime. Her absurd and anti-patriotic comments are just the latest she’s made attacking the country she’s supposed to be…
