Nets Target Trump’s VA Pick, Fear He’s Not ‘Up to the Job’

After news broke Wednesday afternoon that President Trump would be replacing Veteran Affairs Secretary David Shulkin with White House Physician Ronny Jackson, Tuesday’s network morning shows proceeded to dismiss the Navy Rear Admiral as unqualified for the job. The coverage even seemed to criticize Jackson for accurately describing the President’s health during a press conference in January.

CBS This Morning journalists on Tuesday turned to partisan Democrat Jimmy Carter for his opinion on Donald Trump and, not shockingly, it’s pretty negative. Co-host Gayle King fawned over the ex-President, declaring him a “class act.” Co-host Norah O’Donnell made sure to hype his dislike of the current Republican administration. She wondered, “Do you have faith in President Trump?”

Nets Impatient With Stormy’s ‘Tease,’ Devote 61 Minutes to Porn Star

All three networks on Monday adopted an impatient, irritated tone with Stormy Daniel’s lawyer Michael Avenatti. Good Morning America, CBS This Morning and Today hosts complained that the porn star’s 60 Minutes interview had been a boring “tease.” Despite the disappointment, these same networks still devoted a hefty 61 minutes of combined coverage to the Stormy Daniels story on Monday.
