Except when they want to be revered as sex objects. Cosmo, always showcasing its value as a women’s magazine, published an article titled, “How This College Student Became a Successful Porn Star Overnight” with the captivating subtitle, “I had always wondered if I had a weird vagina.”

In the latest bizarre chapter of 2016, a year full of bizarre chapters, a lefty magazine is actually criticizing Obama. According to Cosmopolitan, America’s first black President, twice elected, did not care enough for black lives. 

Although Donald Trump’s election left singer and Hillary Clinton enthusiast Katy Perry feeling “vulnerable, confused and frightened like a child,” Perry gushed that it was Clinton who gave her a “new,” "more determined” voice. Some folks, like Cosmopolitan writer Brittany Cooper, see racism everywhere. Melania Trump’s Monday night speech sparked ridicule and outrage from people on both sides of the aisle. Plagiarism is stupid and dishonest, and denying it in the face of evidence is…stupid and dishonest. But for the unhinged Brittany Cooper, any defense of Melania is just another example of white privilege. 

Allegra-D: it’s just like guns. Not safe in the hands of dangerous drug-dealers, but excellent for when you have problems of your own that need solving. At least, that’s the newest analogy that Cosmopolitan is using to dumb down the gun-control debate. The magazine is confused as to why so many people protest new gun legislation because, as they say, “the second amendment is not going anywhere.”

The cover story of the December edition of Cosmopolitan is titled, "Sex Wish List." The article contains 24 sexual suggestions, all of which exploit the Christian and Jewish holidays. Most conspicuously, it includes a "Sex-Vent Calendar," a rip-off of the Advent calendar prized by Christians.
