Business
June 20th, 2019 5:29 PM
President Donald Trump infuriated the left again on June 19, when he awarded supply-side economist Arthur Laffer the Presidential Medal of Freedom. The left’s reaction was predictably vicious. An MSNBC analyst called Laffer one of the most “destructive forces” in economics since Herbert Hoover. New York Magazine writer Jonathan Chait minced no words about his anger over Laffer’s award ceremony,…

On Sunday night, taxpayer-funded NPR national correspondent Sarah McCammon got into a Twitter debate with The Daily Mail’s David Martosko in which she endorsed reporters refusing to stand for the national anthem while covering events like campaign rallies because that would mean reporters would be “participat[ing]” and thus endorsing the rally instead of being “there to work.”

Unlikely as it seems, during his trip to the United Kingdom, President Trump was greeted by a media establishment that is even more hostile than the one he'd left back home. Throughout the state visit, prominent UK news outlets published a litany of articles mocking the U.S. President and boosting his detractors.

Viggo Mortensen plays Ali’s driver, a New Yorker who harbors profoundly racist views of black Americans.

Social justice warriors and their media pals will not let us forget that Colin Kaepernick is entitled to an NFL roster spot. Now the controversy over the polarizing figure has spilled over into video gaming. Kapernick, we learn, also has a right to be mentioned in video football game soundtracks. His apologists are incensed that the soon-to-be-released EA Madden 19 video game deleted song lyrics…

Terrorism's 'Groundhog Day' Scenario
June 1st, 2017 12:24 PM
The terrorism scenario is always the same. Events repeat themselves, like in the film Groundhog Day. First the video of screaming innocents, as in Manchester, England, where an Islamist detonated a suicide bomb at an Ariana Grande concert, killing at least 22 people, many of them children, and wounding dozens of others.
The People vs. the Press
May 5th, 2017 4:24 PM
President Trump and I have something in common. We were both invited to last Saturday's White House Correspondents' Dinner and we declined. The president wasn't interested in hearing himself mocked by an industry that holds him to a different standard than his predecessor and I wasn't interested in hearing the predictable jokes denigrating all things Republican, conservative and Fox News.
