The 2020-21 TV season may end up being remembered as the year Black Lives Matter occupied scripted television. Or the year Hollywood finally buried its last vestige of original creativity. Either way, the last few months of popular TV have been one long overdose of video virtue signaling.

Stop me if you’ve heard this one: a cop/legal drama drops everything it’s doing to cater to BLM propaganda and lies. Unsurprisingly, the ABC legal drama For Life is back to blatantly butcher the Jacob Blake case, all for the sake of Black Lives Matter.

Turn it down because being censored in a free country is #trending. Friday, January 29 brought the release of L.A.-based Canadian rapper Tom MacDonald’s new hit Fake Woke. In less than a week there's been a large uproar of fans thinking the song is cash but, of course, an online mob wants him canceled.

Strange. Suddenly Saturday Night Live doesn’t care about skewering American presidents anymore. The sketch series, whose entire brand for the past four years has been built on bashing the last president, made no quips about the brand new Biden administration during skits in the show's first episode of the new year.

Singer and hard core leftie Nancy Sinatra’s boots were made for walkin’ and apparently and pouncing on, jumping on and squashing Donald Trump and the half the country that voted for him. Apparently his presidency caused an “angry place” inside Sinatra that she worries may even kill her.

Friday, January 29, would have been the 48th March for Life in DC. Due to COVID-19 concerns, however, the decision was made to make it virtual. We know at least one thing won’t change: the media will again try not to acknowledge the March’s existence. Even when President Donald Trump spoke at least year’s March for Life, the event only received 28 seconds worth of network coverage. 

Holding a grudge is one area the left thrives. This week’s “peaceful” protest includes attacks at J.K. Rowling yet again. 

Pop star Halsey gave a very positive and apparently inadvertent pro-life message while sharing photos of her pregnancy with the world. In a pregnancy announcement, the 26 year-old “You should be sad” singer and abortion supporter declared her love for the “mini human,” currently residing in her womb.

Cancel culture takes no prisoners and a small but growing group of celebrities know it. On Monday Jan 25, The Walking Dead actor, told Harris Faulkner of Fox News that the growing intensity of cancel culture is dangerous to American freedom and culture.
